Reviews
Baked beans were pretty good , bacon and eggs were overcooked. Place is extremely expensive for what it is , paid 4 dollars alone for a little not even 6 oz cup of chocolate milk which was pretty ridiculous. My buddy just got a cheeseburger and I got a bacon egg and cheese on a bagle and it was 50 dollars. Definitely would not recommend.
My only regret is that I didn’t know about this hidden gem sooner. One of the cutest breakfast places I’ve ever been to. Offering two types of coffee, light & dark, made my heart sing. Most breakfast places have the worst coffee, but Ellie’s does not disappoint with the dark roast coffee. I also wasn’t expecting the opportunity to have a mimosa. Delicious. Luisa, our server, was so welcoming & friendly as if we were old friends.
Rick, the owner, came over to introduce himself, asked how we liked our meals and took the time to chat. We loved how he jumped in to help where needed and was clearly involved with day to day business. I can’t wait to go back. It really was a GREAT experience. Kudos to you! Tina & Steve
Amazing 👏. Food is fresh, authentic, and super delicious. Grilled banana bread 🍞 a must!!!!!. Espresso martini dangerously delicious. Iced capaccino made perfectly 🥰
Visited on a weekday , late morning. EZ to park as it is a shared lot with plenty of capacity. Place is larger than it appears from most spots inside due to the layout and center bar area. Restrooms are plentiful with maybe 5? at the back, they were well maintained.
Service was reasonably quick with decent check ins. There was a delay in getting coffee refills and trying to get cashed out.
Food was very good. Some cinnamon sugar apple slices were brought to the table as we were seated. Good selection of items . We had a benedict plate and a Baja Grill. Both were very good with generous portion sizes. One odd thing to note here is that most of the breakfast selections do not include any toast and in my case, with the Baja grill and fried eggs it would have been a nice addition. Not a problem , but be aware you will have to ask when ordering.
We were visiting from Rhode Island. When I travel I typically try to eat at places I can't get at home. As a we have diners here in RI this place had a unique breakfast and lunch menu. Food was amazing. Cute little waiting area. Waiting time wasn't long. Staff was amazing and nice.
Coffee was really good only complaint is that the egg rolls were as oily as my cats balls, they were unfit to eat. This place has Amazing breakfast, lunch was alright.
My husband loved the french toast and the fresh squeezed orange juice. I had scrambled eggs and they were awful. They were rubber, lacked in sense of taste. I had the maple bacon. I was expect it to be marinated in maple and then cooked. It had a nice smokey flavor. But syrup was poured over it, which I didn't like. It was very loud do to high ceiling and hard floor. The metal seats at tables are very uncomfortable. Maybe deliberately to get you out quickly? The table was neat and made from reclaimed wood. Waitress was extremely nice and considerate. Everyone was very positive and happy among the staff.
Came here for brunch on Sunday. There was a bit of a wait ~45 mins around 11am but it was well worth it! Where to start…our waitress was super nice and professional. The prices are very reasonable. The mimosa flight was sooo good! I think the strawberry one was my favorite. Then, the broccoli cheddar soup which is my favorite type of soup was perfect! A nice amount of vegetables and a creamy soup, just the way I like it. I’ll have to get a bowl next time. Then to balance it out, I got the veggie bowl which was also very good. The chicken and waffles also looked excellent! I will definitely be back!
